Are you applying to be a raider or a social (fill out entire form even if social just for record keeping purposes):
----------------------------------
|
I am applying to be a raider. |
How did you hear about Plan B or who referred you to apply?
----------------------------------
|
I have heard that Plan B is an exceptional raiding guild, since I first started playing WoW, through various players. |
Age: (Applicants under the age of 18 requires a guild sponsor)
----------------------------------
|
I am nineteen years old. |
RL Geographic Location:
----------------------------------
|
I live in Michigan. |
<Current Guild> and Server:
----------------------------------
|
I am currently in Ghostlands with the guild unrelenting. |
<Previous Guilds> and Servers and Mains:
----------------------------------
|
Before unrelenting, I have not been in any serious guilds. Seraphs of Hell is the only one I can remember. I was a small "raiding" guild that spent six hour blocks of time in Naxx, not completing anything. |
Reason for leaving your most current guild:
----------------------------------
|
My current guild is falling apart. Our Gm died. While I am not one to "jump ship" on friends, especially under these circumstances, I do not believe the recent inability to gather even 25 people for a raid is temporary. With the lose of our main tank and leader, many members have stopped signing up. For these reasons, I believe unrelenting will never be the progressing guild that it was a month ago. |
Previous Raiding Experience (If it was on another toon please specify the name and server of the other toon):
Vanilla WoW:
The Burning Crusade:
Wrath of the Lich King:
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
|
I have only become a serious raider in Wrath of the Lich King. In WotLK, I have experience in Ulduar, ToC, and ICC up to Putricide. |
What you expect from the guild:
----------------------------------
|
I hope to tackle end game content with individuals who, like myself, can step up to a challenge. |
What do you feel you can bring to our guild:
----------------------------------
|
While I have less experience than your average raider, I bring a tank who can learn quickly, take orders, improvise and take responsibility for difficult tasks. |
What add-on modules do you use for RAIDING? (be complete - include a link to a pic of your UI if possible):
----------------------------------
|
For tanking I use Omen, Recount, ZOMGbuffs (guild requirement). |
Net Connection Speed/Type (Also specify standard fps and latency while raiding):
----------------------------------
|
I am using a cable line/modem for my internet connection. My standard latency is around 150ms and an average fps of 30. |
Names of current <Plan B> guild members you know, if any:
----------------------------------
|
To be honest, no members come to mind. I have pugged with several of them before, but am not on a close basis with any of them. |
Summary of your RL background and interests:
----------------------------------
|
I am a male student, planning on studying towards becoming an electrical engineer. I play lacrosse. |
Days and times typically available (please include time zone):
We have mandatory 2 day-per-week raids: Tues, Sund 6:45-11:30. List your entire availability so if accepted and in the future raid times change we can reference this to accommodate our raiders also if you enjoy raiding 10 man on offnights list that as well.
|
I am available pretty much ever night from 7:00pm to 12:00am. Being ready at 6:45 on Tuesday and Sunday will not be a problem, however. On off nights, I am willing and able to raid 10 mans. |
Why do you spec / glyph the way you do?
(i.e. Why spec 1/2 imp judgments for prot pally tanking instead of 2/2? Where are you putting those other points?)
Also different hard modes require different raid make-ups. We often require healers or tanks to spec as DPS to avoid having to sit out quality players, how is your offspec set and are you comfotable playing offspecs?
----------------------------------
|
At the moment, several of my talents are from guild suggestions/requirements. For instance, 2 points in Improved Judgements, 3 points in Heart of the Crusader, and Divine Guardian with Divine Sacrifice.
My offspec is holy. I mainly use it in pvp and do not have much raiding experience with it. It is a reasonably well geared set. Most gear is from emblems, ToC, ICC, with some ulduar gear. |
|
What is the most important aspect of raiding in your opinion?
|
If such a concept could be put into one word, I would say alertness would be the most important. All raiders must be alert to be reader for changing situations and changes in strategy. |
|
What is your dps, healing, or tanking rotation or priority schema (primary and offspec). BE ELABORATE in your response. This should include all trinkets, cooldown usage, and skills you utilized during an entire boss encounter. This is the most important box! Be elaborate!
|
When fighting a boss, I use the popular 6969 rotation. The fight would look like this:
Divine Plea, Sacred Shield,Holy Shield, Hand of Reckoning, Avenger's Shield to prepare and start the fight, Shield of Righteousness, Judgement of Light, Hammer of the Righteous, Consecration, Shield of Righteousness, Holy Shield, repeat....I have two major cooldowns at the moment: Juggernaut's Vitality and Divine Protection. Both of which I prefer to save in case of an unforseen emergency. Juggernaut's Vitality has worked well as a small emergency heal for me. When a particularly hard hit has brought me to a very low hp, I pop it, giving the healers an extra window of time to get their heals off. The Divine Protection is very useful as an all around damage reduction. Useful in emergencies, such as an Icehowl enrage, or in planned situations like the high stacked debuff in the Festergut fight.
As for my holy spec, I can not speak intelligently about. As I previously stated, I have not had much PvE experience with it, being a mainly PvP healer. i will start pugging ToC and lesser raids as a healer to learn . |
